The Companies Act, 2013
has been enacted by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs which has impact on all
the companies incorporated in India. A part of the Act was made effective by
notifying 98 Sections on 9th of September 2013. Further on 26th
of March 2014, the MCA has notified most of the remaining sections. In all, 283
sections have been notified till date.
